Glad to see that the hammer is in a still life not a portrait. Who knew that there could be so much detail in a a rusty hammer and wrench. They are sooooo real. I am sitting here playing with a lamp, a flashlight and a flashdrive trying to replicate the angle of the light to understand why the wrench has so little shadow. I am enjoying your posts so much. Keep them coming. T
I am impressed with your work and this blog, Lin. This still life is exceptional. I remember a couple from Ignat's class and enjoyed painting with you. Dixie
