A New Path
I have begun what I hope will be a path to more skillful and intuitive artwork. I am studying under the tutelage of Van Saro (www.vansaro.com), an outstanding young artist who teaches the classical method of drawing and painting. It may mean that the number of postings will decrease as I strive to make my work more accurate, but I hope that the level of execution will be obvious when a piece is posted. My goal is to train my eye and hand to be as accurate as possible, and then to push that knowledge into my intuition and paint the things I see when I close my eyes at night: the artwork from my heart.
