This piece was submitted to an art competition through facebook called Odd Nerdrum: Poetica Competition cont... III in August/September of 2010 and was voted in the top 20 out of more than 600 in the first round of voting. I'd like to thank all of you who voted for my piece. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

2009 has been an incredible year of growth for me. I've studied under Van Saro now for more than a year and the progress shows in my work: thank you, Van. I also have a beautiful new studio near my home which I share with my friend and colleague, Heidi Floren.

I believe 2010 is going to be a year of new mastery and also a year in to get my new work out to the public by entering more group art shows. I will keep you posted on dates and times. Thank you all for your support this year and I hope that your new year is full of warmth, laughter and love.
